CO2 Emissions Trading Scheme - EU ETS Verification:
If your company is a large emitter of CO2 and has to comply with the requirements of the EU ETS you will have to be verified by an accredited body.
While HMS do not have this accreditation, if you burn gas or oil we
can assist you in ensuring that you comply with the fuel quantity
- and hence CO2 quantity - measurement
requirements.
It has been our
experience that some verifiers do not have
an in-depth knowledge of gas or oil metering
validation requirements, and therefore may
not be aware of any shortcomings within your
metering systems or their validation.

We will also be very happy to work with, and assist, accredited verification bodies with metering related queries to ensure full compliance with the scheme verification requirements.
